As the name of the Observatory suggests, it does offer a great view of the sea and wharf area.
For this picture I was facing in the opposite direction, direcly towards Shibuya, to capture Tokyo Tower in all of its daylight glory.
Below Tokyo Tower you can see Shibakōen or Shiba Park.

As the name of the Observatory suggests, it does offer a great view of the sea and wharf area.
For this picture I was facing in the opposite direction, direcly towards Shibuya, to capture Tokyo Tower in all of its daylight glory.
Below Tokyo Tower you can see Shibakōen or Shiba Park.
In the bottom right is Shibadaimon, a district of Minato City.

A nightscape of the retail and entertainment district. A straight channel runs through the center of the image. Pedestrian pathways are on the left and right of the river, both down at the water and a bit raised, to give access to shops and restaurants. Ramps allow passing between the different levels and bridges in the distance close the gap between both shores while allowing passenger boats to pass under. A mighty stone wall with meter tall stone bricks is towering over a moat. The moat has overgrown with greenery. Some plants are crawling up the wall, trying to reclaim the man-made structure. Some plants are even growing in between the stones. In the middle of the moat, a white pipe goes across, being held up by support beams and goes into the wall. — Osaka Castle - Inner Moat

Here you can see Osaka Castle in the background. Since the camera was close to the ground you can see the cobble stone floor, behind which lies a calm small lake. This lake is surrounded by a beautiful and delicately designed japanese garden. — Osaka Castle - Nishinomaru Garden

A long time exposure at night. The wide, but shallow Kamo river reflects the lights of restaurants, that are next to it. The waves and ripples in the water are smoothed due to the long exposure. A view of Osaka during twilight. A few fluffy clouds are hanging in the sky and are illuminated bright red, by the sun below the horizon. The left part of the sky is glowing in a bright orange due to direct sun illumination. The lights of the city are slowly staring to turn on. Half an hour more and it will be night, turning the dense ocean of houses into a glowing wonderland, just waiting to be explored. — Osaka - Tsutenkaku Tower - North view
